Independent vehicle body repairer Barkway Service Station has introduced a host of exciting new additions to its customer service package thanks to the U&I network.

The 25-year old firm is now offering like-for-like car hire, a manned 24-hour accident helpline and full access to legal advice in addition to its existing customer services.

12-man strong Barkway Service Station is also an approved MOT test centre and runs a full car service department along with a crash repair centre.

The company is one of a number of repairers who have joined the U&I network recently, which has been growing at a phenomenal rate.

U&I is a sustainable scheme created by north-west firm Call Zebra, which assists bodyshops striving to deliver a swifter, more comprehensive range of accident repair services, and reduce the time spent on administration.

Paul Blanche, managing director at Barkway Service Station, revealed: “Being located in a village, our sense of community spirit is very important to us, and we are always looking at ways in which we can improve our customer’s experience.

“The U&I model allows us to provide the fastest and most efficient service possible, enabling us to concentrate on growing the business and helping more motorists than ever before.”

Darren Gilling, managing director of UK firm Call Zebra and the creator of the U&I model, added: “It is fantastic news that Barkway Service Station have joined the U&I network. “The U&I model empowers vehicle bodyshops with the services they require to put the needs of the motorist first. “Barkway Service Station, along with our other members, are transforming the face of accident repair industry as we know it.”
