Call Zebra’s U&I scheme carries on going from strength to strength, with Midlands-based vehicle body repairer Fred Smith & Sons being the most recent addition to its ranks.
The 75 year-old firm is a Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicle approved repairer, and employs over 60 people spread across five different sites in the West Bromwich area. With a background in truck repairs, they have evolved into a true one-stop solution for all walks of motorists; specialising in repair, body-building, car and commercial vehicle services and MOTs.

The U&I scheme is a national network of vehicle body repairers that provide around the clock assistance to motorists who have experienced an accident. The new services include a fully manned 24-hour accident helpline, like for like vehicle hire and access to legal advice.
James Smith, director at Fred Smith & Sons Ltd remarked: “Good customer services are all-important to us, and we have always prided ourselves in putting the needs of our clients first.
“Having recently celebrated our 75th anniversary, the time felt right to upgrade the range of services we offered motorists, and the U&I scheme was the natural solution for this.”
