65 year-old vehicle body repairer AB Dyne today announced that it was the latest firm to sign up to Call Zebras U&I scheme.

Thanks to this agreement, the company will now be able to incorporate a fully-manned accident helpline that motorists can contact at any time of the day, a like for like vehicle replacement service and full access to legal advice should it be needed.

Originally starting off as a London Taxi supplier and repair specialist, over the years AB Dyne has since expanded into more general vehicle repair work. The company currently employs 27 people, and is 75% part-owner of another member of the U&I network, LFG High Wycombe Ltd.

The U&I network is a sustainable scheme which enables bodyshops to deliver a swifter, more comprehensive range of accident repair services, without the bulk of the associated overheads and streams of administration.

Matthew Wright, a director at AB Dyne, said: “Whilst our background has been in London Taxis, over the years the business have evolved to serve both general commercial and private customers.
“By joining the U&I scheme, we are ideally poised to take the business another step forward, and we can now offer an unrivalled level of service to all of our clients.”

Darren Gilling, managing director of Call Zebra, the north-west which created the U&I network, added: “The U&I scheme has experienced a phenomenal rate of growth since its inception, and is one of the success stories of the credit crunch as we expand in these difficult times.

“It gives us great pleasure to welcome a company of the calibre of AB Dyne to its ranks.”
