Vehicle body repairer Washington ARC is the latest firm to sign up for the U&I network as part of its recent expansion plans.
Thanks to a recently signed agreement, the 30-year old firm is now able to offer a manned like for like car hire, 24-hour accident helpline and access to legal services to all its new and existing customers.
The U&I network is a sustainable scheme created by north-west firm Call Zebra. The scheme has been created to assist vehicle bodyshops to carry a faster and more comprehensive range of accident repair services, without the bulk of the associated overheads and streams of administration.
Washington ARC currently operates out of a 12,000 sq ft premises on the Swan Industrial Estate, and is poised to grow rapidly in 2009 due to the increased publicity from the U&I network.
Darren Norton, director of Washington ARC, said the agreement with the U&I network will enable them to capture more direct business, as well as servicing their existing customer base.
He revealed: “As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of placing our customers needs first, and the U&I network is the perfect opportunity to strengthen such a vital area.
“Together with our experience and existing facilities, we see this move as a natural extension of the services we offer.”
Darren Gilling, managing director of Call Zebra and the creator of the U&I model, added: “It is fantastic news that we can welcome a company of the calibre of Washington ARC to the U&I network.
“The U&I model puts the needs of the motorist at the forefront, which is fantastic news for drivers everywhere.”
